why i think my dad will ruin christmas for my future kids

YES! And i'm getting them for Christmas. 

O Christmas Tree

This is one of my favorite things in the whole world. Sitting on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate, the Christmas story from Luke and the lights on the tree puts me in the best mood. It is one of peace, joy and tranquility that only comes this time of the year.  

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...

Ok, so we don't have stockings...but the lights are hung all over and our mini-tinsel tree is up with ornaments. We have the hideous Santa statue on the end table, the ceramic Christmas dog on the shelf and the beanie baby snowman above the TV. I've read the Christmas story twice now and had multiple cups of hot chocolate. It's official, our house is ready for Christmas. Bring on the holiday cheer.
