If you haven't heard of pinterest, don't. It's addictive.
Essentially you can "pin" pictures from other websites to your "boards" and you can "repin" pictures from other people as well. Here are some of the latest funny things I've found.

One Step Closer
Well, you all know of my goal of being that lady that makes the delicious cinnamon rolls. Probably because I'm related to you and I told you. If I didn't, I may have written a blog post about it, but I can't find it and am too lazy. Anyways, I just wanted you to know that now I'm one step closer to really being the lady that makes cinnamon rolls.
I only got a finished picture of these on my phone, so none on the blog post today. There are still some improvements to be made, but these are definitely better than the last batch I made! Making batch 2 tomorrow :)

Back to Basics: Books!
I legitimately can't remember any books I read before the wedding/honeymoon that I didn't blog about, though I know there were a few.
This is the last book I finished. I read it on my honeymoon and finished in the four days. Barbara Kingsolver is hands down my favorite author. Ever. I love everything she writes. In fact, The Poisonwood Bible is my favorite book. This book follows Codi through her transition moving from Tucson, AZ to her hometown of Grace, AZ in the face of her sister moving to Guatemala (or something...) and her father's failing health. Kingsolver does an amazing job as usual and I recommend it :)
Okay, off to the car registrant's office and DMV, when I'd rather be reading.

It's my birthday in a few days...cough, cough...Thursday. Feel free to get me any of the following:
1)A scarf hanger - SO HANDY!
2) This adorable towel from House 8810
3) This super cozy looking blanket also from House 8810
4) A gift card to Amazon so I can buy all the books on my "to read" list, which is now super long.

What's a girl to do?
The husband is officially gone on a family men's camping trip for the July 4th weekend until Wednesday. Not only is he not at home but he doesn't even have cell service. What am I filling my time with?
-Clean/organize our outrageous house. There is currently a stack of empty Crate and Barrel boxes the size of Kilamanjaro that needs to be taken to the recycling place, my clothes are somewhat organized, and almost every thing in the kitchen has a home. Lets not talk about the extra bedroom or the pile of papers that needs to be filed, or the dirty floors...
-Watch lots of 30 Rock on Netflix with my sister-in-law.
-Run errands because really the pile of things that needed to be returned to Target was a little big.
-Thank you cards!
-Trying to meal plan so when I grocery shop I don't go out of control...
-Work. Thankfully I got put on call on Thursday so I had time off. But I'm back for 3 in a row on Sunday. At least it'll make time go fast til the husband comes home!
Because I don't like naked posts, here is a photografia of us from our honeymoon!
