The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...
Ok, so we don't have stockings...but the lights are hung all over and our mini-tinsel tree is up with ornaments. We have the hideous Santa statue on the end table, the ceramic Christmas dog on the shelf and the beanie baby snowman above the TV. I've read the Christmas story twice now and had multiple cups of hot chocolate. It's official, our house is ready for Christmas. Bring on the holiday cheer.

I wish I was there! It feels so un-christmasy here because it's HOT and I go to the beach daily! Drink a cup of hot chocolate for me please
